DOGS LIKE CATS, CATS LIKE DOGS

IT IS GENERALLY THOUGHT THAT CATS AND DOGS FIGHT NATURALLY,,,,NOT TRUE......ACCORDING TO DOGS WITH BLOGS, MOST DOGS AND CATS ARE FRIENDS....they will play with each other, affectionite, in some instances date each other.....YES IT IS TRUE...........date each other.......they will eat together much like a human couple would in goiing to APPLEBEES, for a steak on a date...........beccky barlow on barlow bark

Went snowshoeing with master Dan...

Dan took Duke and I up the mountains because he wanted to go snowshoeing. I had soooo much fun up there, there wasn't any deer to chase but I still had fun. Duke got lost at the bottom so he went back to the car and waited for us. Dan figured he would do that so he did! He is a very patient dog. I feel bad Duke didn't come with us during the whole trip. The snow was deep, fun, and white! We went up to Willow Creek Trail, yes I have been there before, but Duke hasn't. Daniel flat wore me out! He had snowshoes and I didn't! I still had fun to be out in the hills. -Sadie

Jasper Belle: Mongrel Cat...

Jasper Belle is his name: Jasper(a pretty quartz rock), and Belle(French word for beautiful). He is a beautiful cat and that is why we call him Jasper Belle. He is a great member of the family.

I love Jasper Belle, we like to sleep together on the couch sometimes. Jasper is freindly to other people and other dogs.

Jasper is an outdoor cat and comes inside sometimes. During the winter, he has a cathouse with a heating pad inside to keep him warm.

Sadie and Duke doesn't like Jasper Belle, they chase the heck out of him when they are loose. Jasper told me that he is glad Sadie and Duke are inside of their kennel most of the time. Jasper is a lovable cat.

Christmas time.....we opened our presents already!

Great news for Sadie and I!:

Barlow Putz put our Christmas lights around our good ol' "Dog Majal" kennel. We love it! Looks like Christmas time for us and Santa Claus came to our kennel lastnight, yes, already!

Santa thought we should open our presents right away because he said it is something we need right now. They are Lectro-Kennel heating pads. Master Dan opened them for us and put it in our large dog house for the two of us, he dug all the straw out of the way and put them on bare ground and put 6 inches of straw on top of them so we can dig our own beds over it. It is nice and toasty. The box said it is heated up to 102 degrees. Santa even brought the mongrel cat we hate, Jasper Belle a heating pad too. It seems like Jasper Belle likes it more than we do.

In our stockings, we got a heated 1.5 gallon dog bowl so we wouldn't have frozen water in our water bowl. It works well and our masters don't have to come and pour hot water in it and break it or whatever they do with it.

Christmas Tree Hunting....Not Squirrels

All of my master uncles, aunt, cousins, my master, and cousin Jeri went Christmas tree hunting in the mountains yesterday. I love the mountains, my favorite place. Lot's of squirrels to chase. My master uncle's family got a tree for them and my master's family got 2 trees for them also.

Thanksgiving meal? No fair!

I was wandering around the table begging for food all Thanksgiving day and I haven't gotten one thing! My masters put me on diet since who knows when? During the meal, I can smell that delicous turkey, potatoes, and candied yam. I hope I will eat that stuff in doggy heaven. I love to eat!

I am always behind bars but Daniel takes Duke and I running in the hills and on the fields every day. I am 77 in dog years. I am lovable, sweet, friendly dog but sometimes I get in trouble. Hi! I am Speedy. I am a terrier mix, I am 7 years old in dog years. I am a service hearing dog, I am not blind, I my eyes are covered with hair. My master is deaf and her name is Becky. I like to play with other dogs and I love people. I move very, very fast, that is why my name is Speedy.
I am queen of the window! I am Sandy, I am a cocker spaniel and I am 85 years old. I love my masters, I have 4 masters, Daniel, Becky, David, and Karma. I am the queen of The Platoon Of Four. I love to sleep, play with my red ball, look out the window, and eat. I am a lovable, cuddlely dog. I am a cancer survivor. Twice!

My name is Duke. I am a yellow labrador retriever and I am 12 dog years old. I love my companion, Sadie and my master, Daniel. I love to run and play. My master is the best because he takes me on car rides and lets me run in the hills every day with Sadie. I follow Sadies orders every where we go, I am not much of a leader.
