Barlow Putz put our Christmas lights around our good ol' "Dog Majal" kennel. We love it! Looks like Christmas time for us and Santa Claus came to our kennel lastnight, yes, already!
Santa thought we should open our presents right away because he said it is something we need right now. They are Lectro-Kennel heating pads. Master Dan opened them for us and put it in our large dog house for the two of us, he dug all the straw out of the way and put them on bare ground and put 6 inches of straw on top of them so we can dig our own beds over it. It is nice and toasty. The box said it is heated up to 102 degrees. Santa even brought the mongrel cat we hate, Jasper Belle a heating pad too. It seems like Jasper Belle likes it more than we do.

the dogs seem more special than humans...is that fair???no, i didn't think so, what do you think all dogs on dog blogs, do you think it is fair to have the platoon of foour treated so specdial...i did]nt think you would agree, you want to suffer all winter in straw and not be codled with heat and chip your own water when it freezes every night and jasper bell hate a heating pad
qctiallu, actually the opposite is true, jasper belle is in heaven with his heating pad, doesn't move from it, and the dogs hibernate with their heat inside the kennel, they appreciate the luxery, and daniel will be blessed by that great dog upstairs for being so kind to his buddies( he has been a blessing in their lives rescueing them from mean neighbors who did nothing for them except let them get tangled up in their own chains)
Santa Claus brought those presents just in time. Just the night before it snowed. I love my Lectro-Kennel Heating Pad, it is warm for those cold nights.
That last comment was from me, Sadie.
I am happy for you Sadie and Duke, even the beautiful mongrel orange cat, Jasper Belle. That cat won't go off the pad! He has been on there since yesterday when he got it! Sadie and Duke have been on them all day today too when it was snowing outside. The dog house looks warm and cozy in there, with the electric heating pads and thick straw everywhere. I sure did a good building the dog house and keeping them happy.
Dan you need to come help Mandy out. Her house really is crapy. Every time I try to put something in her house to keep her warm she digs it out..any suggestions?
Where did you get those kennel pads..how much were they?
Maybe she is warm enough without any warm stuff. Some dogs don't like the extra stuff and some dogs do. Like Sadie is not sleeping on the pad sometimes but Duke is all the time. But when it gets in the subzeros, I am sure Sadie will. Maybe straw will work for Mandy, she might just dig a hole in it and have straw around her. My dogs loooove the straw because they can make their own beds with it, just like dirt. The heating pads, were really expensive, I don't really want to talk about it but I will tell you, the large ones were $80 each and the little one for the cat was $50 from cozywinters.com. I got the outdoor day/night use ones and they were the best ones in the site. I wanted to make sure I get some real nice ones so I don't have to keep buying them or something. Mandy might not like the pad but I bet she will like the straw, that is my opinion. Mandy needs a new doghouse though, I can help you build one if you want me to, I am coming to your house sometime anyway. Straw is like only $3.50 a bail, you get so much from a bail that you can spread it all over the kennel too.
Where did you get the straw?
We might just bring her porter inside and let her in at night.
I do need to build her a new dog house sometime though.
IFA. I can bring you some this Friday and we can work on the dog house. Does that sound good? Mom is going up to your house this weekend anyway so I might come along.
Yea ok. I didn't know mom was coming to our house. I knew she was going to a nutcracker or something, but whatever you guys decide would be great. I don't want to spend alot of time or money, but it does need a little work. I think we could just use some stuff I have around and put some straw in it and be ok. If it's hard to get the straw I am thinking I can get some at Dallas Green's up the street from our house.
dogs must not be very bright to not use this opportunity to says something significant about the platoon of four...or to give them insight on their own dog lives..do any of youse dogs like the rat pack, or sounds of music in the kennel...or or or or
Hi guys! What great presents.
Thanks for stopping by - yeah, there are LOTS of Charlies. There's me and then there's Big Charlie in Oz (Opy's his sister) and Charlie Dog and Charlie Kelley-Church and Charlie the Coyote and... it just gets confusing. But what Charlie could fail to love Sadie, Sandy, Duke, Speedy, and Jasperbelle? Woof!
- Charlie
we appreciated hearing from one of the many charlies that there are on the blogs...and we are not really trying to promote any products just indidating that we are gland to be warm
"Wow" Santa left you some great gifts
you must have been very good :)
Who hung those lights?
Next time you might want to try to unwad them before you throw them at the fence.
Your kennels and beautiful heated kennel pads are out of this world.
They bought me a kennel when I first came to live with 'em, but I never went in it.
My Jeannie went inside it to encourage me, but I just let her look stooooopid! I like being inside in the warm, my kennel was nothing like yours! You are lucky!
Marvin in Scotland ;-0
